The Reflect Challange is ON

It’s so exciting to see people make serious changes that not only work but are fun!  I have found it to be so profound that a simple shifting in my thoughts can snowball a series of events that I never planned or conceived.

For example, It’s been a long time coming, but I intend on getting in great shape (finally!).  I’ve been saying it for YEARS now but never accomplished the results.

What was the problem?  In a nutshell it was consistency, not of my actions, but of my thoughts…

I have been affirming the following for the last month or so now,

“I am in the best shape of my life”

And from that I am amazed at all the things that have come into my life as a result!  Four things specifically:

  • I have had less fun drinking alcohol lately, this is huge for me as I’ve spent the last 15 years of my life partying and drinking and to cut alcohol willingly is crazy! I for sure thought there would be an intervention at some point haha
  • I came into contact with a new method of strength training - Super Slow, basically all your repetitions are 10 seconds up 10 seconds down and you only do 1 set per muscle group - that’s it!  Done in 25 min which makes for a great workout when you’re short on time
  • I met an amazing person who inspired me to try a cleanse - now while I don’t think cleansing is that necessary for my life, the health lessons learned in terms of what to eat and when are life changing (e.g. I am eating fruit earlier in the day to consume less sugars close to bedtime, and am drinking 3-4 liters of water daily!  You’ll feel the difference, trust me)
  • I started hanging out with a new friend who is in ridiculous shape, and the lessons learned from him as a coach, workout partner, and inspiration are invaluable.

None of these were part of the plan when I started my affirmation regime, in fact all of them simply showed up as a match for my dominant thoughts about health - that I am in the best shape of my life (even though I’m not - yet)

Remember that good thoughts lead to great feelings, which create inspired actions, and produce desirable results…

Looking forward to posting pics soon about my progress and demonstrating that Health starts with the mind - ALWAYS and is simply expressed in the body

Reflect Great Health!!!
